Robert Taylor is a distinguished graduate of California State University, Long Beach, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992, and West Los Angeles College, where he received an Associate of Arts degree in 1989, both in Criminal Justice. His academic achievements have provided a robust foundation for an impactful and enduring professional journey.

Following graduation, Mr. Taylor launched his career with the State Compensation Insurance Fund (SCIF), where his expertise and commitment distinguished him throughout 18 years of service as an adjuster. He further advanced his career by joining the Uninsured Employers Benefit Trust Fund, where he continued to excel as an adjuster for 9 years, demonstrating unwavering dedication and leadership.

Mr. Taylor has been an active and dedicated member of the Phi Beta Beta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. since 1994, exemplifying his steadfast commitment to community service. He has held several key financial leadership roles and now serves as Executive Officer and Committee Chair, driving organizational excellence and community impact.

He currently serves as the Executive Officer of Public Relations for Upward Bound Charities, Inc., where he spearheads community engagement initiatives and passionately champions the organization’s mission, amplifying its reach and influence.
